How it works:
All nutrition counseling services are provided 100% virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll have the same one-on-one relationship and clinical support you’d receive in an office, just from the comfort of your home.
How Dietitian Licensure and Reciprocity Work
Registered Dietitians are licensed at the state level, and some states participate in reciprocity agreements that allow licensed providers to serve clients across state lines via telehealth.
A simple way to think about it: it’s like a driver’s license. You’re licensed in one state, but you can legally drive in other states. Similarly, dietitians licensed in certain states can provide virtual nutrition counseling to clients in other states through reciprocity agreements.

Clients located in other approved states: Services are offered on a private-pay basis. This helps keep virtual nutrition counseling accessible across state lines, especially where insurance credentialing is limited.
Even if insurance isn’t directly accepted in your state, you may be able to seek reimbursement using a Superbill (when applicable). We can discuss your options during scheduling.
